Explore Texts
The texts can be explored:
- By Headword:
- Browse Headwords allows you
to obtain County-ordered concordances of headwords selected from the
full glossary entries under the categories:
- General Glossary
- Personal Names
- Latin terms
- Place and River Names
- Search Headwords allows you to type in your headword from a wider selection of categories. You can then order your results by context and narrow your search to within specific section of the text
- Browse Headwords allows you
to obtain County-ordered concordances of headwords selected from the
full glossary entries under the categories:
- By Free Text Search: this allows you to search for a word form (or part of a word), ordering your results by context in the KWIC display. Words can be searched either in their emended (edited) forms or with their uncorrected manuscript spellings.
